MEDIPOL TTO: WE HAVE QUALIFIED PATENTS

In the statement made by Istanbul Medipol University Technology Transfer Office, it was said: “These data show that the applications made in our university are numerical and high in terms of quality, and the scientific studies of academicians and students are result-oriented. An extended period passes from the patent application stage to registration for an invention. In this process, correct writing of the patent is critical to correctly determine the scope of protection and claim rights in the relevant field in case of registration. Although patent applications have been evaluated and targeted quantitatively in our country so far, the emergence of qualified patents and the registration of patent applications are the most important arguments for having a say in the sector to which the invention belongs. University Monitoring and Assessment Report for 2021 shows that the Patent Unit in the TTO has put in an honest effort and has an actual portfolio of inventions.”
