AIM
General evaluation of water resources and teaching the management, calculation and project design principles required for water structures and businesses in the field of Civil Engineering are among the objectives of the course, and to ensure that an engineer who will graduate has up-to-date and effective knowledge on these issues.
CONTENT
This course contains; Development of water resources, System concept, Economic Analysis,Water cycle, Groundwater,Surface water measurements and analysis,Surface waters,Surface water calculations,Flood analysis,Flood forecasting methods, Flood Control,Dams and Dam Reservoirs,Dam operations,Regulator, Spillway Sedimentation Pools,Hydroelectric power generation,Hydroelectric energy economic analysis,Istanbul water resources field trip,General assessment.
