The MedilogIC team, comprised of students from Istanbul Medipol University, won an honorable mention in the Teknofest 2025 Chip Design Competition with their “Active Low Pass Filter Chip Design” project.

In the Analog Design Category of the Chip Design Competition held under the auspices of TÜBİTAK as part of Teknofest 2025, the MedilogIC team, comprised of students from Istanbul Medipol University’s Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, placed third overall and earned an honorable mention.

The team consisted of Electrical and Electronics Engineering students Damla Dikel, Noha Al Aref, Yavuz Selim Gonca, and Selman Öğüt. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şerif Savcı served as the team’s advisor.

The project, titled “Active Low Pass Filter Chip Design,” involves the design and integration of a reference voltage source, amplifier, and filter circuits. The reference circuit developed in the project features high temperature stability, high gain, and wide bandwidth. The differential filter design enabled the processing of analog signals at specific frequency ranges.

The Chip Design Competition aims to increase students’ interest in microelectronic technologies and encourage their work in this field.
