The School of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Istanbul Medipol University organized a project competition for high school students. The event took place on May 15, 2015 Friday at the Kavacik Campus. Students presented their work with poster presentations in the morning session. There were 48 different projects coming from all over the country. The participants spent the afternoon first visiting the research facilities at Regenerative and Restorative Medical Research Center (REMER) on campus. Then, the programme followed by a tour to Khedive Palace (Hidiv Kasri), a historical and touristic place located in the Asian side of Bosphorus. Finally, Prof. Dr. Bayram Yilmaz from Yeditepe University School of Medicine gave a seminar on his academic journey. The best five projects selected during the poster session were announced and awards were delivered to the project teams and their advisors.
