AIM

To give basic information of biostatistical methodology and to provide the basis for the upcoming research methods courses.

CONTENT

This course contains; Descriptive Statistics,Statistical assumptions and missing value analysis,Calculate and interpret confidence intervals for population means and proportions,Hypothesis Testing, p values, effect size and one sample tests, Two Sample tests,Analysis of Variance (ANOVA),Categorical data Analysis,An overview,Correlation and Regression Analysis,Logistic Regression Analysis,Two way Anova, Ancova, Manova, Mancova, Survival Analysis,Diagnostic tests and Roc Analysis,Reporting of Statistical Tests in Scientific Publications.
