AIM
The construction industry, the construction process, relationships among the participants in the construction process , stages in the construction process, responsibilities and risks involved in the construction process, project delivery systems (conventional, design-build, EPC, EPCM,…), contractual pricing arrangements (unit price, fixed price, turnkey, cost plus &variants, BOT…), management of time, cost and quality
CONTENT
This course contains; An Overview of Construction Management,The Role of the Project Manager,Planning the Construction Project,Developing Objectives for the Project,Creating the Project Risk Plan,Using the Work Breakdown Structure to Plan a Project,Scheduling Project Work,Project Control and Evaluation,Midterm Exam Study,The Change Control Process,Project Control Using Earned Value Analysis,Managing the Project Team,Closing out,Review.
