Engineering Faculty students participated in the “Insurtech” Ideathon held on May 11th, hosted by Medeniyet Üniversitesi in collaboration with Medeniyet Teknopark and Aveon Global. Talented engineering students comprised of two Computer Engineering students, Bengisu Aydemir and Bilal Enes Söylemez, along with Industrial Engineering student Berra Alkan, showcased their innovative skills and secured the third place in the competition.
The Insurtech Ideathon aimed to address challenges within the insurance sector by developing technological solutions. The event brought together a diverse group of participants, including students, academicians, and industry stakeholders. The competition provided a platform for creative ideas and collaboration in the realm of insurance technology.
During the intense competition, the team brainstormed and presented their idea for “Personalized Travel Insurance”. Their innovative approach and dedication earned them the third-place victory among tough competition. Congratulations to Bengisu, Bilal, and Berra for their outstanding achievement!
