NVIDIA Academic Grant Program Awarded to Prof. M. Kemal Özdemir of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering

We are proud to share that Prof. Mehmet Kemal Özdemir, faculty member of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering, has been awarded support through the prestigious NVIDIA Academic Grant Program.

Prof. Özdemir’s project, “Odor Discrimination via Multi-Region Neural Analysis,” was selected by NVIDIA for inclusion in this highly competitive program. In recognition of his research, NVIDIA has donated 16,000 A100 GPU-Hours on Brev to İstanbul Medipol University, providing valuable computational resources to advance the project.

The NVIDIA Academic Grant Program aims to empower groundbreaking research by offering access to state-of-the-art hardware and software platforms. With this support, Prof. Özdemir and his team will be able to accelerate their work, explore new directions in computational neuroscience, and contribute to scientific innovation.
