AIM

Achieving the basic understanding of the theory and practice of technical drawings in civil engineering and learning how to read, comprehend and draw architectural and structural projects. This course consists of the basic understanding of the theory and practice of technical drawings in civil engineering. Students will learn how to read, comprehend and draw architectural and structural drawings with discussions and drawing examples related to existing buildings or projects. The contents of this course include various geometric constructions, line-types used, structural floor plan and elevation plan of a building, and detailing for typical structural members.
